Maze Audio is a small group of audiophiles that produce exceptional, hand crafted audio cables and components for themselves and others. We have been building cables and components by hand since the late 1970's. Over the decades we have worked with virtually every type of metal and manufacturing technique available. We have found that most of the esoteric metals and processes do not produce results equal to their complexity and cost. Our cables are much more down to earth. So is our pricing.

We believe the single most important factor in producing an incredible audio system is synergy. In this case synergy is defined as the component’s ability to work optimally with the preceding as well as the subsequent components in the chain. Each component has an effect on the system. And yes, cables are a component -- a very important component.
There are many different cable technologies available to the audio consumer in the 21st century. Each has its own individual set of pros and cons. Different cable technologies bring different qualities to your overall system. Copper, silver, gold? Litz cable? Rope lay? Large gauge? Narrow gauge? How pure does the base metal need to be? Single crystal metal? Skin effect? Capacitance? Inductance? These different aspects of cable manufacture interact with your other components in different ways. It’s the synergy of the whole system that makes the perceivable difference.
Too many companies are invested in only one cable technology. Naturally those companies will only promote their own single technology. Maze Audio is not forced to advocate only one technology. In general we manufacture two levels of cables. Eden Series and Reference Series. Eden Series are our entry level cables. They are built to provide better performance than consumer quality cables at entry level prices. Our Reference Series cables are produced with no compromise. Our Reference Series cables compete with other cables at any price.

Selling stock cables is simple and quick, but our main focus is creating custom, personalized cables for you, the individual customer. Please take your time looking through our website. We cannot provide pictures and descriptions of all of the products we produce. Every picture is merely a sample of cables produced for other customers.
