The display shows the power in Watts (W), the cumulative energy (resettable) in kilowatt-hours (kwh), the voltage (V), the AC frequency in Hertz (Hz), the current in Amperes or Amps (A), and the power factor (PF). Power factor is an indication of a phase angle difference between the voltage and current, and corresponding inefficiency, usually caused by inductive loads, like motors. It represents the ratio of the real power in Watts to the apparent power in Volt-Amps:
PF = W / VA.
