These cables are built with the best copper wire we can source. Four conductors of 18 gauge low capacitance copper wire, equivalent to an aggregate 15 AWG conductor area. They are individually covered in tech flex jacketing for appearance and a long service life. Then they are hand braided to get the most noise free performance possible. They are terminated with beautiful 24 karat gold or rhodium plated, carbon ferrule locking RCA plugs. These will make a tight high performance connection to your components. We also have **NEW** Sandalwood RCA plugs, with gold-plated connections and accents, and premium tan and brown tweed jacketing. These fantastic Maze Audio interconnects feature machine braided copper litz wire. There are many advantages to the litz construction. The tight braids prohibit radio-frequency and other electromagnetic noise from being emitted or being absorbed by the cable. In addition, the braiding makes the cable extremely flexible, keeping tension off the RCA jacks on your valuable equipment and making cable routing and organization a simple task. Litz wire allows the flow of electricity to be cleanly divided between multiple braided strands of fine wire that are each insulated, then braided. As a result, cables that utilize litz wire enjoy much less skin effect than devices using traditional non-isolated wire construction. Other advantages of litz wire include increased efficiency and lower operating temperatures.

Silver plated copper wire offers several advantages over plain copper wire. Silver minimizes skin effect in your cables. Skin effect refers to an increase in a conductor's electrical resistance due to current migration towards the outer surface of the wire or cable at higher frequencies. It is often observed in high frequency (10KHz to 1 MHz) cables that contain smaller skin depth. Silver is one the very best conductors of electricity. Silver plated wire increases thermal and electrical conductivity. Silver will actually raise the overall conductivity of the copper wire. It's difficult to find quality silver plated wire that is still affordable.

Each has a full copper wire braided shield for zero noise induction. These are covered in high grade tech flex jacketing. This jacketing is expensive and very heavy duty for a long service life.
