These cables start with 7N purity, 22 gauge virgin, oxygen free copper (OFC) wire that has been plated in sterling silver. Each cable has 8 individual conductors. Silver is a very high end and expensive conductor of electricity. Silver plated wire increases thermal and electrical conductivity. Silver also minimizes skin effect in your cables. It's difficult to find quality silver plated wire that is still affordable.
